When should I use Remedio?
For a general medical consult at home: symptom check, treatment follow-up, prescriptions, assessment of a condition that doesn't need emergency care. Remedio is not an emergency service. For immediate care, dial 911 or head to the nearest ER.
How long until the doctor arrives?
Depends on the rate you pick. Scheduled arrives on the day and time you choose. Regular arrives the same day, as soon as availability opens. Urgent has dispatch priority. The exact time is confirmed at booking.
What if I need emergency care or a specialist?
Remedio is general medicine. For real emergencies, dial 911 or head to the nearest ER. If your case calls for a specialist, your doctor recommends the next step at the close of the visit.
How are doctors verified?
Every doctor on REMEDIO carries a verified professional license (cédula profesional) on file with the Secretaría de Educación Pública. We also verify specialty, prior clinical experience, and run a supervised onboarding through the first visits.
How does payment work?
You register a card when you confirm the visit. Payment runs automatically at the close. REMEDIO processes payment to the doctor and retains its marketplace fee. The rate at booking is the final rate.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Refunds depend on the visit state: before a doctor accepts, you cancel at no charge (full refund). Right after a doctor accepts, a 50% cancellation fee applies. Once the doctor begins traveling to your address, no refund applies. Once the doctor is at your address or the consult is underway, in-app cancellation isn't available — for edge cases, write to ayuda@remedio.mx. If the doctor cancels for any reason, you get a full refund. Refunds land on your card in 5–10 business days (Stripe processing).
Do you see pediatric patients?
Yes — general consults including non-urgent pediatrics, with a doctor who has pediatric experience. For cases that need advanced pediatric specialty, we refer you to the right specialist.
How is my data protected?
Your personal data is handled under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP). __Remedio_LATAM__, S.A.P.I. de C.V. is the data controller. See the privacy notice for purposes, transfers, and your ARCO rights.
