We built Remedio around the consultation, not around the app. The consultation is between two people: a licensed physician with a current cédula and a patient at home.
Each consultation is provided by the physician who accepts it, under their own cédula profesional and professional responsibility.
How we think about Remedio
Simple for the patient. Serious for the system.
Physicians visiting homes is nothing new; it has been done for decades. What changed is everything around the consultation: how it is requested, how it is charged, and how the record is kept.
Remedio organises that part. A licensed physician with a current cédula arrives at your home with their equipment.
It is not an emergency service. The service is a general medical consultation at home, for non-urgent conditions.
